Why is it important to become an active member of Oasis?

Understanding why starts with knowing who we are in Jesus.  As members of His Church we see, in a new way, how valuable we are.  God is our source for what we can accomplish.  He has gifted each of us uniquely.

Active members are blessed.  Working together develops friendships.  Joy comes in discovering and using the gifts God has given us.  Contentment stems from serving others within Oasis.  It is exhilarating to see people in our community benefit through our ministry.

Love is the key motivation for sharing in church life at Oasis.  To love God is to love and serve others.  God asks of us, both weekly and daily, to give of ourselves for Him.  An active Oasis member fulfills the inner desire to please God out of gratitude for the gift of Jesus.

Attending Oasis alone will never be the complete experience God intended. Church life can be exciting, dynamic, satisfying, and rewarding. Only through active membership can a person grow in relationship with God and with fellow members. That is why Oasis has established an environment where individual and corporate ministry is continually developing.
