WHAT TO EXPECT
Do you know that it matters where you go to church? God has a place for you where you will learn and grow in your relationship with Him. We encourage you to visit as many times as you wish and allow Him to show you if Oasis of Faith is the right church for you. We would love to welcome you to our church family. No previous church background is required.
What can I expect on my first visit?
From the moment you pull into the parking lot, we hope that you'll feel at home. As you enter the building, our greeters will be poised and ready to give you a warm welcome, directions and answer any questions you may have. You will also recieve a welcome package.
Join us in the foyer for pre-service coffee or tea and snacks. Browse in our bookstore and find answers to your questions at our information counter.
As you enter the sanctuary, our ushers will welcome you and assit you in finding a seat. Then, sit back, relax, and enjoy the service!
If you have children or preschoolers, you'll want to take advantage of our safe and secure children's classes designed just for them. Our ushers would be happy to show you the classroom locations prior to the service.
What is a Sunday worship service like?
We begin with music as we lift our praises to God. Children join in with their families for this portion of the service before heading to their own classrooms. Our worship services are designed to be exciting, engaging, reflective, and life-altering experiences. Music plays a vital role in the worship services at Oasis and our Minister of Music, Brian Hagan leads us in a song service that creates an atmosphere where it is easy to lift our spirits in worship to God. Our blended style of worship music includes something for all ages and preferences.
Our pastor, Rev. John Rakich, delivers the Word of God through messages that are both practical and thought-provoking. His desire is that each person should leave every service eager and equipped to become more Christ-like in their daily lives, and discern the will of God for them individually and pursue it with abandon.
Where do I take my children?
You'll find first-class programs for your children from birth–6th Grade.
Our Nursery and Preschool area, located just steps from the sanctuary, offers a warm and caring environment for your precious ones. The programs will captivate your child’s heart and imagination. Your child will experience crafts, Bible stories, music, games and group interaction.
Your girls and boys will experience church like never before. Our children's ministers have a heart to impart God's Word to every child. Your children will experience God's truth in fun and innovative ways including games, crafts and videos. They won't want to miss a single week.
What should I wear?
You are welcome at Oasis just as you are. Dress is casual or tailored - the choice is yours.
