For several summers, the Sunday Evening Service times have been dedicated to getting outside the walls of the church. We have gone out to meet the people in our community and stimulate their thinking on their eternal destiny.
Community events such as local street festivals have been good ground to plant the seed of the Gospel. Ballooning, puppet shows, mascots, and face painting have all played a part in sharing the Good News on these fun-filled days.
Puppet Ministry
The "Puppets on Purpose" puppet team was birthed in 2010 out of a desire to increase the effectiveness of our Evangelism outreaches. Five brave, but inexperienced volunteers agreed to try their hand at puppeteering. In 8 weeks the team was ready for its debut at Heritage Day in Richmond Hill.
Puppets on Purpose has never looked back. The team continues to prepare for outreaches and also to bless the church with their performances. If you are between the ages of 12 and 112, you are welcome to come and see what we're all about. Practices are held Wednesdays from 6:00 to 7:15 pm, just prior to the evening service.
Children’s Ministry
Who says church can't be fun? From pre-school up to Grade 6, our Children's Church Ministers specialize in presenting God and His Word in fresh and exciting ways. Games, skits, videos, experiments, and crafts make learning easy and memorable.
Who says church can't be rewarding? Our Children's Church has a program that rewards attendance and learning with monthly prizes. Your children will want to come back every week.
Behind the fun is the sincere heart of our Children's Ministers that the children learn more than just "Bible stories". Their desire is that God becomes a reality in the children's daily lives, and that as they grow in the Word and in maturity they will continue to be a mighty force for God throughout their whole lives.
Women’s Ministry
There’s nothing quite like getting together with “the girls”. Our "Mighty Women of God" enjoy periodic Fellowship Breakfasts which are truly a feast for the spirit, soul and body. Pastor Carrie ministers a fresh word especially for women that will encourage and equip in your daily life. We invite you to join us for a special time of fellowship.
Men’s Ministry
As iron sharpens iron, so one man sharpens another. Not to be outdone by the ladies, the "Mighty Men of God" also meet periodically for Fellowship Breakfasts. Pastor John delivers the Word in a way that challenges and strengthens men to meet the demands they face daily. We invite you to come out to enjoy the food and the camaraderie of like-minded men.
